Arlington Community High School to Get Permanent Home at Amazon’s PenPlace

Arlington County and Arlington Public Schools announced Wednesday that Amazon will support the building of a permanent home for Arlington Community High School (ACHS) as part of its PenPlace development in Pentagon City.

Just before 8 a.m., the school received an anonymous call that there was a shooter in the building. Staff immediately notified the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) and placed the school in lockdown.
