Google Apps: Moving Google File to Google Folder

You can move a Google File to a Google Folder two ways!

  • In Google Drive tap files in the bottom right corner.
  • You can organize the files by name, or the other options shown. It may be easiest to find things by last modified.
  • You can also search if you’d like.
  • Find the document you would like to move and tap on it to select it.
  • You can drag it to the folder like shown OR you can tap on the folder with the arrow icon at the top and move it that way
  • If you choose the second way you will see this screen.
  • Tap on my drive.
  • Select the folder you want to move it to.
  • Tap move here.
