Community Satisfaction Survey

The Community Satisfaction Survey of residents, parents, staff, and students is conducted every other year. The results provide a district wide snapshot of

  • Satisfaction with APS
  • Meeting student needs
  • Meeting staff needs
  • Surrounding factors
  • Community support

The survey is designed to encourage comparison. Where applicable, the survey

  • Asks similar questions across the stakeholder groups of parents, community members, staff, and students.
  • Includes items from the Phi Delta Kappa (PDK)/Gallup Poll of the Public’s Attitudes Towards Public Schools, through earlier PDK/Gallup polls.
  • Repeats questions from past Community Satisfaction Surveys to monitor changes over time.
