Tdap Immunization Reminder

APS reminds parents that all rising sixth grade students must have documentation of having had a Tetanus-diphtheria – pertussis (Tdap) booster immunization in order to enter school in the fall.

This immunization, as well as other recommended vaccinations can be obtained through your primary care physician. Please bring or send the immunization record to the middle school clinic where your child will attend 6th grade.

Free Tdap for students entering grades 6-11 is available at the Arlington County Open Immunization Clinic:

No appointment is necessary. Bring your child’s current vaccination record.

Tuesdays: 3-6:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: .9 – 12:30 p.m.
Fridays: 7:30-11 a.m.

Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
