APS News Release

Student Schedule Information for the 2020-21 School Year

In preparation for the start of the school year, timing and details regarding schedule availability in ParentVUE are provided in this message. In addition, middle and high school students will be able to access their schedules online in StudentVUE when they become available.

Teachers will begin to contact students and families as they receive their class rosters with the students in their class, so families should expect to receive emails from their student’s teachers over the next few days leading up to the start of school in preparation for full-time distance learning.

When logging into ParentVUE, families will be able to access student schedules under the “Class Schedule” tab. This is where information on the courses a student is enrolled in and the course teacher is available. Families are also able to click on the teacher’s name to send the course teacher an email. The following link can be used to access ParentVUE: https://vue.apsva.us.

Elementary School Schedules

Student schedules for all elementary schools are currently available to be accessed in ParentVUE. Elementary schools have also sent out additional information about daily student schedules and specials. While families are able to see all of the enrolled courses for their elementary school student, this is not the daily schedule, so families should reference the daily schedule received from their child’s school.

Middle and High School Schedules

Schedules for high school students are currently available to be accessed in ParentVUE and StudentVUE. Students will also be able to access their courses in Canvas based on their schedule to see course information and the syllabus. The schedules for middle school students will be available to access in ParentVUE and StudentVUE on Friday morning at 8 a.m. Middle school students will be able to access their courses in Canvas shortly after their schedules become available online.

Additional Information

Schedules are subject to change, so students and families are encouraged to check schedules on the first day of school on September 8 to confirm they are following the correct schedule and that no changes have been made. Families may also need to log out of ParentVUE and log back in to view the student schedules once they are available.

For additional information or questions about your child’s schedule, please contact your child’s school.
