Snapshots Visits the Dentist’s Office

In this week’s episode, Snapshots visits the dentist’s office with 600 APS PreK students for a free cleaning on Friday, Feb. 10. The American Dental Association sponsors Give Kids a Smile (Dental Day) to provide free dental cleaning and restorative work for children who might not otherwise access dental care or who have not experienced a positive dental examination. The event takes place annually in February at Northern Virginia Community College in Springfield. Over 75 area dentists, dental hygienists and others volunteer their time to participate in this event.
