Last Summer School Registration Deadline and Important Information

The final registration deadline for Summer School is Mon, June 24. This registration deadline is for current APS secondary students who need a makeup and strengthening class. Families can register their student(s) at the Syphax Education Center from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. (2110 Washington Blvd. 1st Floor) Only students who need to repeat a course will be allowed to register at late registration.

Summer School Letters

NEW: Summer School welcome letters, bus letters and schedules for all middle and high school students will be available in ParentVue on July 2. Unless you specifically requested that a hard copy of these materials be mailed to you (on your child’s registration form) you will only be able to see them in ParentVue.

Welcome letters and bus letters for all elementary students registered for summer strengthening and enrichment programs will be mailed June 24. If you have not received your packet by June 28, please reach out to the summer school contact listed below to ask for a copy of your welcome and/or bus letter. Please note that you must live at least one mile from the summer school site in order for your child to be eligible for bus transportation.

Summer School Transportation Update

Secondary students (Including middle and high school students attending Kenmore and Washington-Lee) will be picked up and dropped off at central locations which will be available in ParentVue. Transportation for elementary students will be included in Summer School Packets mailed home.

For questions about transportation, the Summer School Customer Service Call Center will be open from 6 a.m.-4 p.m. from June 24-Aug. 16.
