APS Notifying Families by Feb. 5 for Secondary Option Programs/Schools and Neighborhood Transfers
By Feb. 5, APS will notify families who participated in the Jan. 29 APS random double-blind lotteries for all secondary options schools and transfers to neighborhood schools for the 2019-20 school year. The deadline to confirm or decline attendance to a school or program is Feb. 22. Applicants who were not selected through the lottery process will be placed in numerical order on a waiting list. Beginning this year, families will need to apply every year for the option schools or programs they are interested in because a new waitlist begins with each annual lottery.
