Join Arlington Public Schools (APS) for High School Information Night on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, from 7 – 9 p.m. at Washington-Lee High School (1301 N. Stafford St.). Parents and families of students entering high school in the fall of 2019 will hear an overview about APS high schools and programs, school options and transfers, application deadlines and procedures, school information sessions, available resources, and more. Parents of students new to APS are encouraged to attend as well to learn more about APS high school options.
Immediately following the opening session, attendees will be able to meet the various high school principals and program administrators to learn more information about each school and the programs they offer. The available high school option schools and programs include: H-B Woodlawn, the Arlington Tech Program at the Arlington Career Center, the Advanced Placement (AP) Network and Immersion Program at Wakefield, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Washington-Lee.
Families are encouraged to join the conversation about High School Information Night on Twitter by using the #HSInfoNight hashtag. If you are unable to make it to High School Information Night, we will live stream the general session and share the link on Twitter the night of the event. It will also be available for viewing on the High School Information Night page the day after the event. Following High School Information Night, all APS high schools will host two information sessions for families that are listed on the High School Information Sessions page.
Simultaneous Spanish-language interpretation will be provided for the general session.
