What is Career and Technical Education (CTE)?
Career and technical education,or CTE, is education that directly prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers while preparing students to be career and college ready.  CTE covers many different fields, including health care, business, information technology, engineering, family and consumer sciences, computer science, trade and industrial, advanced manufacturing, hospitality and management and many more, as described in the national Career Clusters®  .

What is CTE Month?
Career and Technical Education Month®, or CTE Month®, is a public awareness campaign that takes place each February to celebrate the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across the country.

Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
