Arlington Community High School to Get Permanent Home at Amazon’s PenPlace

Arlington Public Schools, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) company, today announced a new educational lab will be built at Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA, pending final approval by the Arlington School Board.
Update on Washington-Liberty High School Incident

Just before 8 a.m., the school received an anonymous call that there was a shooter in the building. Staff immediately notified the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) and placed the school in lockdown.
APS On-Time Graduation Rate for Class of 2021 Highest Ever

The APS On-Time Graduation Rate (OGR) for the Class of 2021 was 94%, (1,648 students). This represents the highest OGR since Virginia began reporting this in 2008.

It has come to our attention that there is a list of social media challenges on TikTok similar to the most recent "Devious Licks" TikTok Challenge that encouraged kids to vandalize and steal random objects from their schools and post them in videos.
