All-Virginia Music Honors for APS Students

Eleven APS students participated in All-Virginia Orchestra, All-Virginia Symphonic Band, All-Virginia Concert Band and All-Virginia Chorus ensembles this weekend. The ensembles began on Thu, April 22 and run through Sat, April 24. The events will be all virtual this year, but students will still get to connect with other talented students from throughout the state of Virginia and work with renowned guest artists from around the country. In addition to working on performance repertoire, students will have mini-master class sessions and be treated to guest performances from professional musicians. The final performances will be recorded individually by each musician and mastered by sound engineers. The release date of the All-VA ensembles will be on YouTube Live later in May.
