2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Literary & Visual Arts Literary Arts Winners

Corrected: Today, Arlington Public Schools announced the winners of the 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Literary and Visual Arts contest.Twenty-four entries were chosen out of more than 1,000 submissions in this year’s contest.

Winners will have the opportunity to participate in the 49th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute event on Sun, Jan. 14, at Wakefield High School. Winners will be contacted directly regarding participation details.”  Students will also be recognized at the School Board meeting on Thu, Jan. 18, 2018.

Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
