Feb. 3 School Board Meeting Highlights

The School Board Made the following appointments at last night’s meeting:

• Jennifer Gildea name principal of Alice West Fleet Elementary School
• The School Board named Andrew Spencer as the Executive Director of Transportation & Fleet Management

Staff presented an update on Educational Technology.

Information Items
The School Board discussed the following items:

• Strategic Plan Update & Revisions to School Board Policy A-6.30 Development and Assessment of Strategic Plan
• Revisions to School Board Policies (B-3.6.30, B-3.6.34 and B-3.6.35)
• Revision to School Board Policy I-7.2.9.31 Advanced Classes
• Changes to the Virtual Learning Program

Next School Board Meeting:
The School Board will hold its next regular meeting (2110 Washington Blvd.) on Thu., Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. The agenda will be posted one week before the meeting on BoardDocs.
