As part of March is Arts in the Schools Month, APS, in partnership with Arlington Cultural Affairs, presents Collaboration During Isolation, in which theatre students express their dreams and hopes for the future through video projection technology. Students from Yorktown (on 3/16), Wakefield (on 3/22), H-B Woodlawn (on 3/23) and Washington-Liberty (on 3/25) will display videos on an 8 x 14 ft pop-up screen built in the shape of a head and speech bubble, at each high school on their respective days noted above, from 6-8 p.m. This project was made possible by a grant from Wolf Trap Foundation. Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program
Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
