Superintendent’s Thanksgiving Greeting to the APS Community

Dear APS Community,

As we head into the Thanksgiving Break, I would like to wish you and your families a happy, healthy and relaxing holiday. I prepared a short video message expressing our gratitude for all you do throughout the year to support our school community. Thank you for being part of our APS family.

There is a lot for us at APS to be thankful for, including our food services staff, custodians, maintenance workers, health professionals, and of course, our teachers, principals, school-based staff, central office staff, as well as countless volunteers who continue to give so much of their time to others in our community. Thank you to our students, families, staff, and community for your ongoing support.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at APS.

With gratitude,

Dr. Francisco Durán
Superintendent
Arlington Public Schools
