Summer School Registration Closes June 30

Online registration for the 2020 Secondary Distance Learning Summer School closes June 30 at 4 p.m. Elementary students who were previously identified as eligible do not need to register as they were automatically enrolled by APS. However, if a family wishes to withdraw from an elementary program, they should contact the administrator at their child’s school.

Students in grades 6-12 who were previously identified as eligible for a summer strengthening program should submit the online registration form by 4 p.m. tomorrow. No payment is required. Qualified students who wish to apply for a high school New Work for Credit Course (Economics, US/VA History or US/VA Government) must submit their registration by the same deadline and send a check for $350 (payable to Arlington Public Schools) to:

Arlington Public Schools
Endia G. Holmes, APS Finance Office, 4th Floor
2110 Washington Blvd.
Arlington, VA 22204.

Please note that both the student’s name and APS ID number must be clearly printed on the check. If checks are not postmarked by June 30, the student registration will be withdrawn.

Students enrolling in a New Work for Credit Course will receive a notification email with details about the program on July 1. Student schedules for all other courses will be available in ParentVue on or about July 13.
