Grab Your Walking Shoes, Bikes or Other Wheels and Join us for Walk, Bike and Roll to School Day.

Biking to SchoolOn Wed, Oct. 2, all APS schools are taking part in Walk Bike and Roll to School Day 2019, an annual celebration that encourages students to walk, bike or roll to school while teaching them about the health, environmental and community-building benefits of active transportation. Each school will participate in its own way with morning welcome events and other activities planned. APS has been participating in this annual national celebration for nearly two decades.

This event will kick off a year-long campaign to encourage and support active transportation to our schools, redoubling our efforts to make walking, biking and rolling part of the school commute on Oct. 2 and every day. Walk and Bike to School Day promotes active transportation modes and the health, environmental, transportation and community-building benefits of walking and biking to school;
