Summer Activities Fair set for Feb. 8

Join Arlington Public Schools and the Arlington County Council of PTAs (CCPTA) for the annual Summer Activities Fair on Friday, Feb. 8, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Kenmore Middle School (200 S. Carlin Springs Rd.). The summer fair is free to attend and features over 85 summer activity program exhibitors, including APS Summer School, Arlington Aquatics, and Arlington County Parks and Recreation. (Snow Date: Feb. 15)

This is a great time to get ready for summer by exploring the available summer activity programs throughout the region and the various enrichment programs they offer to children of all ages. Representatives from the various summer activity programs will be available to discuss the following program options:

  • Academic and art programs;
  • Day camps;
  • Sport camps;
  • Overnight camps; and
  • Camps offering accommodations for children with special needs.

A complete listing of participating programs will be available online after Feb. 5. At the event, teens may obtain a listing of organizations offering summer work and/or volunteer opportunities.

For additional information or questions, please contact Daryl Johnson, communications coordinator, at 703-228-7667 or daryl.johnson@apsva.us.
