Registration Open for Annual APS Dyslexia Conference

Registration is now open for the APS 2018 Dyslexia Conference. The conference takes place on Sat, Oct. 13 from 8:15 a.m.-2 p.m. at Kenmore Middle School. (200 S. Carlin Springs Rd.)

Parents, students (upper elementary/middle/high school) and staff are invited to attend the free APS 2018 Dyslexia Conference. Breakout sessions will address self-determination and student advocacy; mathematics skills; reading and psychological assessments; research, legislation and advocacy; co-occurring disorders; effective instructional strategies; and more. A student panel will present during the lunch break, and a resource fair will be available throughout the conference. Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
