High School Summer School Classes to Stay at Yorktown for Remainder of the Week

Due to ongoing repairs to the HVAC system at Washington-Lee High School, Summer School classes will remain at Yorktown and bus transportation will be provided there for the rest of the week.

Bus Riders
Students who take bus transportation to school will be picked up at the normal time and bus stop and taken to Yorktown.

Walkers
Students who walk to school can take a shuttle bus from Washington-Lee to Yorktown in the morning and return in the afternoon. Shuttles will depart Washington-Lee High School at 7 a.m. There will also be a shuttle for students who only attend second period. That shuttle will depart W-L 9:45 a.m.

For students who drive, or families who drop off a student, Yorktown High School is located at 5200 Yorktown Blvd.If you have questions, please call 703-228-2542.

Summer School classes will resume at Washington-Lee on Mon, July 24.

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
