APS Receives Twelve Communications Awards

The Arlington Public Schools Department of School and Community Relations received 12 awards from the Chesapeake Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (CHESPRA).

The awards include:

Award of Excellence: Superintendent’s Winter Message;

Award of Excellence: Black History Month Campaign

CHESPRA is the regional chapter of NSPRA, the National School Public Relations Association, an organization of school public relations professionals which strives to build support for education through responsible communication.

Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
