The School Counseling Team reports to the Director, Office of Student Services, Dr. Laura Newton. The Department of Teaching and Learning is home to the Office of Student Services. The School Counseling team includes our Supervisor for Counseling Services and our Coordinator of Counseling. Our role is to build district-wide capacity of the over 125 School Counselors employed in Arlington Public Schools in order that school staff can deliver foundation learning and support to all students in academic success, career awareness and exploration, and social/emotional learning.
