Partners in Action: Oakridge Elementary Cultivates Nat Geo Partnership

What happens when APS classrooms and National Geographic Explorers connect? Take a look inside Jennifer Burgin’s Kindergarten class at Oakridge to find out! This month’s Partners in Action video highlights the Explorer Educator Challenge and how Freshwater Ecologist Dalal Hanna inspired Oakridge students. Students researched Halal’s work and mission and applied their own creativity and explorer skills in a variety of ways. Hanna leads virtual lessons for students, so it was a great surprise when National Geographic brought her to the classroom!
