Swanson Middle School teacher Mary Beth Donnelly has been named the 2019 Virginia History Teacher of the Year, an award presented annually by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to K-12 American history education.
New Tdap Immunization Requirements

Rising sixth graders will no longer need to get the Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) immunization to enter school in the fall due to a change made by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) that went into effect July 1.

Measles Update and Prevention
