Department Core Services

Services are what every department, office and school provides to support classroom instruction.  By providing central services the classroom teacher is freed from a wide variety of responsibilities ranging from transporting students to building course catalogs.  This permits teachers to focus teaching students. Processes are how services become implemented. By documenting processes both consistency and accountability are improved.  By documenting and placing metrics around the quality of services and processes, accountability is created, opportunities for data-based decision making are generated and communications are improved.
