Young Scholars Innovation Academy occurs during the summer in Title 1 schools except for Barcroft Elementary School which offers students this opportunity during fall intersession.

The Young Scholar’s Innovation Academy provides rich learning opportunities related to real-world thinking with a strong emphasis on science and technology. Students will increase and develop critical and creative thinking as well as problem-solving abilities through meaningful, authentic learning experiences. Students work with their peers to design, create and solve a problem while exploring various forms of technology.
