Making Your First Pizza (or Salad or Salsa) Garden 

A webinar to guide Extended Day staff on a garden journey introducing kids to gardening via the planting and maintenance of a salsa garden. We’ll cover topics including: plants as food, how to plant seeds and seedlings, how to take care of your plants, and how to make salsa from your harvest. Building Resiliency Coping with Change

Read Aloud Training

In the Read-Aloud training we’ll review how to prepare a book to read aloud, watch a couple videos of excellent read-aloud skills, and practice reading aloud. We’ll also talk about how reading aloud for a video is different from reading to a group, and how reading to a larger group is different from reading to a small group. Participants will need a picture book or chapter book if they want to practice with the group.
