Switching Apps

To switch apps, double press the home button quickly, then select the app you want to use. Practice this now:

How do you see the Canvas app again when you are done with Teams?

Step 1: Press the home button two times quickly

Step 2: Find the Canvas app on your screen

Step 3: Tap on it

Now you see the Canvas app again!

Practice this several times to get the hang of it. Remember: “Double tap, switch the app!”

Closing Apps

To close apps, double press the home button quickly, then swipe away the app you want to use. Practice this now:

How do we close an app when we are done?

Step 1: Press the home button two times quickly

Step 2: All the apps that are open are displayed

Step 3: Press on the app you want to close, and swipe upward to "throw it away"

Step 4: Repeat this for each app that's left!

Practice this several times to get the hang of it. Once you’ve got the hang of it, go on to the next step.

To move to the next step, press on "Next"
