Cafeteria: Recognition of Adam Nesbitt: 8:00a.m.-8:30a.m.

Adam Nesbitt was a Technology Education teacher (Tech Ed) at Gunston and, in his memory, we are working to introduce Robotics (one of his passions) to all students across the county. Each year in April, we host a day to showcase robotics activities for all ages, as well as a robotics competition for middle and high school students.

NOVA SySTEMic Scrimmage:   8:30am.-2:00p.m.

Station 10: Play Osmo

Tinkering Stations:  8:30a.m.-2:00pm

Station 1: Sensational Designer- Maker Space

Station 2: Robots on the Move with Dash Robot

Station 3: Minecraft

Station 4: Scratch Out the Code with Scratch

Station 5: Moving Out with AI & JavaScript with Sphero robot

Station 6: Master Creator with Lego

Station 7: Engineer in the Making with Lego

Station 8: Build Your Bot with MBot robot

Station 9 : Robots (Spanish Station) 1:00pm-1:45pm

Station 11: Robotics Dance (location TBD)

*GROWING INNOVATORS’ ROBOTICS K-7th grade Dash Scrimmage*

  • Steps: Register (below), obtain Missions, Practice, and attend Event
  • Create a team of 1-5
