The Early Childhood Education Advisory Committee focuses on Preschool-Grade 2. We collaboratively explore and advise our school board on issues such as access to early childhood programming (e.g., our Virginia Preschool Initiative Program, Community Peer Program, and Montessori Preschool), kindergarten readiness, early literacy and mathematical thinking, home and school communication, and social development.
