What Does ACTL Do?
The Advisory Council on Teaching & Learning (ACTL) is made up of representatives from each school and certain community organizations to assist in reviewing the system-wide curriculum and instructional program and in developing recommendations for improvement. ACTL is made up of 40 to 50 individuals who are familiar with or interested in instructional issues. Thirteen curriculum-based / focused advisory committees report to the council annually. Over the years, ACTL has spearheaded some important changes in the Arlington Public Schools curriculum.
Meetings will be held at the Syphax Building, 2110 Washington Blvd. Arlington, VA 22204, 2nd Floor in conference rooms 254/256/258. All meetings are from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please contact Rosa Ewell (rosa.ewell@apsva.us). If you have any questions.
