Dear Friends of APS:

Given persistent public health concerns, the 2020-21 school year start date changed to September 8 and all students will begin classes remotely until further notice. See Superintendent Durán’s update on reopening schools. The Superintendent is providing a Return-to-School status update at all School Board meetings, now through the fall.

• The APS COVID-19 webpage has the latest updates and frequently asked questions (FAQs) about instruction, technology, meals for students, resources for families, and more.
• Arlington County Grants $500,000 to Provide Free High-Speed Internet to APS Students in Need
• APS Social Worker Support Continues Through Summer
