Calendar update:
The School Board approved a calendar change for the current school year to designate Fri, April 21, 2023, as a holiday for Eid al-Fitr. Because of this change, all schools and offices will be closed on Fri, April 21, 2023.

APS COVID GuidanceAPS made a few adjustments to COVID protocols based on the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). Overall, most COVID-19 protocols have not changed. Primary changes are related to contact tracing, quarantine, and isolation procedures. View the updated COVID-19 Protocols and FAQ online.For the flu vaccine: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone ages 6 months and older should receive a flu vaccine each year.

  • To find flu vaccines near you, go to https://www.vaccines.gov/find-vaccines/ and type in your zip code and select your vaccine option.
  • The Arlington County Public Health Division also has vaccine clinics each week. Click here for more information about appointment times, locations, and costs.
