A graduate of the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam, I began teaching music in 2005 after winning a Grant through VH1’s Save the Music.  I was matched with three NYC Public Schools where I started Band, Chorus, Percussion Ensemble and General Music programs. While in NY, I completed a Masters Degree in Music Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. After 5 years living and teaching in Brooklyn, I relocated to Northern VA where I began my time at Barrett Elementary. When I’m not at Barrett I enjoy traveling, cycling, baking ,and spending time with my family!
