The Arlington Social Studies Office offers numerous online opportunities to provide students with flexibility in course offerings.  Blended courses include both face-to-face and online instruction.  All instruction in virtual courses is done online.  Both blended and virtual courses have instructors assigned to students and both types of courses meet the state requirement for online instruction.  Sign-ups for both virtual and blended instruction occur at the school site.  For more information about summer online offerings see the Social Studies Blended and Virtual Courses FAQ.
