Yorktown Bands Present: Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Festival

Yorktown High School bands present Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Festival beginning at 2:15 p.m. on Sat, Feb. 11.

The festival is free and open to the public and includes:

• Performances by high school jazz bands from the mid-Atlantic region, 2:15-5 p.m.
• Jazz clinics presented by the U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note, 5:15-6 p.m.
• Awards presentation at 6 p.m.
• Performance by the Outstanding Band winner at 6:30 p.m.

The festival concludes with a performance by the United States Air Force’s premier jazz ensemble, the Airmen of Note.
