Three APS students earned top honors at the Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair, which was held April 5-6, at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke.
The following APS students placed in their categories or received awards:
Caroline Cunningham (Washington-Lee)
- Leidos First Place – Applied ($800) (special award)
James Licato (Washington-Lee)
- Second Place in category (Environmental Engineering)
- Stockholm Jr. Water Prize (special award)
- Virginia Section of American Water Works Association ($500) (special award)
Allison Stocks (Yorktown)
- One of five overall Grand Prize Winners – Due to her Grand Prize award at the state level, Allison Stocks is invited to attend the International Science and Engineering Fair May 12-17 in Phoenix.
