APS Celebrates National School Nurse Day

On National School Nurse Day, we take special time to celebrate and recognize the contributions that our public health nurses serving our school clinics make every day to support the health and learning of our 27,000+ APS students. This has been a challenging year to work in either a school or healthcare setting— our school nurses are at the intersection of both, and yet have still shown up every day to give phenomenal care to our community.

It recognizes that school nurses play a key role in not only caring for students’ physical wellbeing but also stepping into the many areas where healthcare and education intersect.

Please join us in honoring our school nurses as we celebrate National School Nurse Day. Join the national conversation on social media using #SND2022 or #schoolnurses.
