School Board Open Office Hours

School Board Member Nancy Van Doren will host the first virtual Open Office Hours on Mon, April 27 from 5-7 p.m. This will be an open meeting using Microsoft Teams where community members are welcome to share their comments and concerns with the Board.

Community members will be accepted into the meeting as they join between 5-7 p.m. Participants will have a 2-3 minute opportunity to address Ms. Van Doren. Please try to be concise with your comments to allow all participants an opportunity to speak.

If a community member prefers a private conversation with Ms. Van Doren, call 703-228-6015 or email school.board@apsva.us and include your name, phone number, and reference Open Office Hours. Ms. Van Doren will call individuals at her earliest availability.

Each Board member may choose to manage their Open Office Hours differently. Any changes will be communicated through the normal APS channels as plans are finalized. The Board values the community’s input and appreciates everyone’s patience as the Board transitions to this new virtual format.
