First Meeting of Advisory Committee on Transportation Choices Set for March 16

The first meeting of the Advisory Committee on Transportation Choices (ACTC) will be held on Thu, March 16 at 7 p.m. in room 101A at the Education Center. (1426 N. Quincy St.) The meeting is open to the public.

The ACTC was established as a joint advisory body of the County and School Boards for the purpose of advising the Joint Committee on Transportation Choices (JCTC). The JCTC, on which County and Arlington Public Schools (APS) staff will collaborate, is created by the two boards to develop and implement programs that further transportation choice for APS students, families and staff.

Arlington Public Schools to Participate Summer Meals Program

Arlington Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to students ages 18 and under on a first come, first serve basis, from July 5-Aug. 1 at Carlin Springs Elementary School (5995 5th Road S.).
