September 28, 2016 Welcome back and best wishes for a wonderful, successful school year! FACE – Family and Community Engagement kicked off the year with a THIRD Parent Leadership Facilitation Workshop (PLF), on August 25-27, 2016.
Twenty-two parents participated in PLF Training that is
designed to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the skills needed to plan and lead successful meetings that produce results. This learning opportunity is offered for parent organizers and parent leaders in Arlington Public Schools. They will gain new knowledge, skills, tools, and confidence to design and facilitate meetings that can help move forward efforts to improve outcomes for children and families in their communities.
Sponsors of PLF Training are: Arlington Public Schools (Department of Instruction – FACE office; ESOL/HILT Department; and Office of Minority Achievement, and CCPTA. Please contact me if you or someone you know would be a good candidate for PLF Training. Dr. Rosa Briceno (email@example.com)
