Due Mar. 7:        The Office of English Learners seeks community input on the Draft Five-Year Strategic Action Plan. Visit the Engage with APS webpage for details. Video recording of informational webinar and feedback forms are available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Amharic and Mongolian. Feedback deadline extended to March 7.

Arlington Community Events:

Due March 1      Art contest for K-6 students! Calling student artists! WMATA wants to feature your artwork on their Earth Day Metrobus. Metro is looking for students in grades K-6 to share through art how public transportation creates a more sustainable environment. Students can email their submission to metroart@wmata.com. 2023 Honored Citizens Award The Arlington School Board invites you to nominate outstanding community members for the 2023 Honored Citizens Award. Individuals must meet selection criteria and be committed volunteers who have gone above and beyond in supporting our students and schools. Nomination forms are due by 5 p.m. on March 13.
