Arlington Celebrates the Week of the Young Child

Throughout the week of April 23-29th, APS will be hosting a variety of events to celebrate the Week of the Young Child. The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the world’s largest early childhood education association.

The purpose of the Week of the Young Child™ is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs. Arlington Week of the Young child events are free of charge and open to all Arlington families with children ages 7 and under. The complete catalog of events can be found online.
