Arlington Community High School to Get Permanent Home at Amazon’s PenPlace

Arlington County and Arlington Public Schools announced Wednesday that Amazon will support the building of a permanent home for Arlington Community High School (ACHS) as part of its PenPlace development in Pentagon City.
2022-23 School Year Draft Calendars Available for Review

The APS Draft Calendars for the 2022-23 School Year are now available, along with a survey seeking community input, which will be open through October 29, 2021.
School Board Appoints New Virtual Learning Program Principal

The School Board appointed Danielle Harrell as the new principal of the Virtual Learning Program. Harrell is currently the Director of Educational Programs at the Women’s Education Alliance in Towson, Md.

Arlington Science Focus is closing today, Fri. Oct. 15, 2021, due to a water main break. We had anticipated a repair by early morning however, county officials report the repair will take additional time to complete.
Arlington Public Schools and Amazon to Launch an AWS Think Big Space at Wakefield High School
