Virginia Board of Education Honors 12 Arlington Schools for Educational Excellence

On Wednesday, Governor Ralph Northam and the State Board of Education announced that 12 Arlington schools were honored with the 2019 Virginia Index of Performance (VIP) awards based upon student achievement and other performance indicators during the 2017-18 school year.

The May 23 School Board meeting and Honored Citizens reception, that was postponed due to a power outage, has been rescheduled for Thu, May 30. The Honored Citizens reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
