Local singer songwriter and H-B Woodlawn senior Calista Garcia has been recognized for her outstanding artistic achievements in vocal/songwriting and joins 710 of the nation’s most promising young artists to be selected as a 2018 National YoungArts Winner.

APS Signs Agreement to Bring Solar Power to Five More Schools

On December 6, 2018, APS signed an agreement to partner with Sun Tribe Solar of Charlottesville, Va. to install rooftop solar panels on five schools across the county. APS staff, local leaders, partners and students were there to celebrate and recognize the excellent work of the APS team that helped make it happen.
