Registration for Summer Extended Day Opens
March 13, 2023
Summer School Registration: March 13th @ 8am – April 21st @ 3pm
- Open to all students enrolled in APS Summer School
- Registration fee will be charged at the time of registration and must be paid by 3pm 10 business days from the date of submitting registration.

Extended Day Registration for the
2023-2024 School Year
The registration process is conducted in four phases, as indicated below. During the appropriate phase, families must submit registration information online to the Extended Day Central Office. Subsequently, families will receive notification that each child has been enrolled or placed on a waitlist. Please visit our Preparing for Extended Day Registration for some helpful tips.
Families must meet the following criteria to register for the Extended Day Program
- parents/guardians must be employed, in school, or incapacitated
- family accounts cannot have a past due balance
- students must be four years old by September 30, 2023
Phase 1: May 1st @ 8am- May 12th @ 3pm
Open only to families with students enrolled in the Extended Day after school session on May 1, 2023, and their siblings.
- Registration fee will be charged at the time of registration and must be paid by 3pm on May 16, 2023 in order to guarantee enrollment.
- Families will receive enrollment confirmation by May 19, 2023.

Phase 2: May 15th @ 8am – May 26th @ 3pm
Open to families with a student who was registered to the 2022-23 Waitlist as of October 1, 2022 and have not been offered an enrollment slot, and currently remain on the 2022-2023 Waitlist, and their siblings.
- Students will be enrolled for next school year in the same order that they are currently assigned to the 2022-2023 Waitlist until all spaces are filled.
- Any remaining students will be placed on the 2023-2024 Waitlist in the same order that they are currently assigned to the 2022-2023 Waitlist.
- Registration fee will be charged at the time of registration.
- Families will be informed of their enrollment or waitlist status by June 9, 2023.
- Registration is conducted online using the buttons at the bottom of this page.
Phase 3: May 30th @ 8am – June 12th @ 3pm
Open to all families
- Students registered during this phase will participate in a lottery and be assigned a family lottery number.
- Students will be enrolled as slots are available, in order of the family lottery number.
- If a program has reached capacity, students will be placed on the waitlist following students from Phase 2.
- Kindergarten and Pre-K slots are allocated separately due to space and staff to child ratios.
- Registration fee will be charged at the time of registration and must be paid by 3pm on June 14, 2023 for a student to be included in the lottery.
- Families will be informed of their enrollment or waitlist status by June 30, 2023.
- Registration is conducted online using the buttons at the bottom of this page.
Phase 4: June 13th @ 8 am and is on-going for all students.
- Families who register after June 13th will be enrolled if space is available.
- If the program has reached capacity, the student will be placed on a waitlist in the order that their registration is received.
- Registration fee will be charged at the time of registration and must be paid by 3pm 10 business days from the date of submitting registration.
