College Resources for Undocumented Students

Aspire 2 Excellence

It is possible for undocumented students to continue their education beyond Arlington Public Schools. Our goal is to provide students with the academic experiences and supports to pursue post-secondary opportunities. A major barrier to college attendance for our undocumented students is the stringent requirements associated with the college admissions process and eligibility for scholarships and financial aid. Many of the scholarships and federal aid programs require students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students who are undocumented are not eligible for participation in these programs. However, there are private and organizational scholarships available that do not require completion of the FAFSA form. The Dream Student Resource Guide provides more information for undocumented students.
