Once the Boundary Refinement Tool closes, staff will begin compiling feedback to develop a set of options for the School Board to consider in November.
APS will host a “What We Heard” community meeting at 7 p.m. on Thu, Oct. 27 at Washington-Lee High School in the cafeteria. During that meeting, staff will share what they have heard from the community and ask for additional suggestions to help inform the options that will be presented to the School Board on November 3.
After the Superintendent presents the options to the School Board on Nov. 3, the School Board will meet in a Work Session on Wed, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Wakefield High School cafeteria. At the next School Board meeting on Tue, Nov. 15, the Board has scheduled time for a public hearing which will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Board will approve the high school boundary refinements on Thu, Dec. 1 so that the refinements can be shared with families at the High School Information Night on Mon, Dec. 12.
